a white bed sheet covers the frame
of her small, pale body
wrapping around her thin legs
and long, awkward arms.
her frail body contains limited strength:
weak arms, weak legs, weak neck,
yet her heart still beats strong
amongst all the negative
a red comforter is strewn on the floor
from where she gave everything
just to push it off to portray how she feels
with nothing inside but her beating heart:
ba-bump, ba-bump, ba-bu…
fluffy red fabric
wrap my body up
tightly
smothering me in
comfortable sleep.
good night.

love is stronger than
death even though it
can’t stop death from
happening, but no matter
how hard death tries it
can’t separate people from
love. in the end, life is
stronger than death.
how can an
entire human body
feel so completely
empty?
too caught up in
thoughts,
ignoring reality
surrounding.
“The meaning of life differs from man to man, from day to day and from hour to hour. What matters, therefore, is not the meaning of life in general but rather the specific meaning of a person’s life at a given moment. To put the question in general terms would be comparable to the question posed to a chess champion: “Tell me, Master, what is the best move in the world?” There simply is no such thing as the best or even a good move apart from a particular situation in a game and the particular personality of one’s opponent. The same holds for human existence. One should not search for an abstract meaning of life. Everyone has his own specific vocation or mission in life to carry out a concrete assignment which demands fulfillment. Therein he cannot be replaced, nor can his life be repeated. Thus, everyone’s task is as unique as is his specific opportunity to implement it.”

Heartache
21 September 2009
Do you ever feel like heartache is what you need to just…live? To feel your heart pounding in your throat. To feel like you’ve lost all sense of reality. To feel everything shaking out of your body from your fingertips. Then to feel nothing. Numb. It’s a part of life. We need even the worst things to feel whole. That, pain, heartache, shows you how real everything is. How real you are.
